A global organization might define a top-level group for each region, then create child groups for availability zones and domains. Similarly, a service provider might model infrastructure domains that logically represent their tenant boundaries. Another team may only need a flat grouping of arrays by location. No matter how the infrastructure is distributed, Everpure Fusion simplifies creating, managing, and securing arrays similar to a public cloud-like environment.
Everpure Fusion uses placement policies to guide workloads toward appropriate infrastructure and prevent placement outside the boundaries, making it secure. For instance, a compliance-sensitive workload can be constrained to an approved infrastructure in a country or a region. Similarly, applications with common availability requirements can be placed within the appropriate zones.
Everpure Fusion evaluates topology rules whenever a placement request is made through the GUI, REST API, CLI, or natural language via MCP. During workload placement, Everpure Fusion prevents boundary violations by making sure that the workload policy and the corresponding topology groups have an eligible array in common. The result is a placement decision that is secure, repeatable, and defensible.
